I bought a charger for an old Sony video camera, as the old charger had stopped working, I was sent a charger that was compatible with many more batteries than the Sony ones. It is a small device but the contacts can be adjusted for width, so any size battery can be charged, if it will fit in the charger. The polarity is automatically detected, so it doesn't matter which way round the battery is.
